From its inception, I helped build the festival from the ground up, handling all aspects including logo design, contracts, fundraising, production, curation, and décor. This event was an immense success, selling out with over 1000 attendees and featuring secret sets by renowned artists such as Skrillex and SBTRKT.
With a focus on underground South Asian culture, Dialled In was the first of its kind. Supported by Waltham Forest Council, Dialled In helped grow the sector by unifying South Asians no matter caste, nationality or creed, fostering cross-cultural collaboration. The aim of Dialled In is to showcase how South Asian artists have previously been underestimated by a predominantly white-focused creative industry. The work aims to inspire younger South Asian creatives by breaking down doors and paving a way forward.
